Haydn Chamber Orchestra

The orchestra has used St Andrew’s as a rehearsal venue for many years. The orchestra was formed in 1983 by musicians living in Islington.

It gives regular concerts in and around North London, usually in Christ Church in Highbury.

Their repertoire ranges from the early classics to contemporary works. HCO aims to provide classical music to the highest standard for all who live in Islington and the surrounding boroughs. The reputation of the orchestra as one of the best amateur orchestras in London has enabled it to attract conductors and soloists of international repute. The performers normally donate their services.
